We also sell colorfull chicken eggs. Fresh, hard boiled, and pickled Quail eggs. Ready to cook Quail, Smoked Quail, Nancy's famous peanut Brittle and hand crocheted items from our sheeps wool and other yarn at the Woodstock and Rutland's Farmer's Markets.
Woodstock Market on the green runs on Wednesdays from mid June to early October 2011 from 2:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Rutland Summer Market is on Saturdays from May 7, to October 29, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Park in front of Walmart.
Rutland winter market is on Saturdays from November 5, to May 5, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and it is located on Wales St. behind the Natural foods Co-0p store. Just walk thru to the old theater.

Only one section of the 8,000 square foot barn at Tweed Valley Farm is being used for the mushroom cultivation . There are presently eight 8' X 8' greenhouses situated in this specially insulated section that are being used to control the temperature, lighting, humidity and air circulation for their proper growth. The Shiitaki mushrooms are being grown on sterilized logs and the Oyster mushrooms are grown in bags of sterilized medium. There is a pellet stove used for regular heating and a propane heater for when the temperatures get very low. The process takes constant monitoring of all necessary conditions to achieve maximum growth.
